Presenting Myself

Hi there, I’m Nes, at least, that’s the name I use around here. My real one stays tucked away for now; I’ve been trying to be a little more careful on the internet lately.

I’m a Business and Library Science student, but in between books and spreadsheets, I spend most of my time enjoying the little things: reading, learning new languages, watching cozy TV shows, and taking far too many pictures of my cat, Nicolau, who (in my completely unbiased opinion) is the cutest cat in the world. 🐾

I’m also a scout leader, I work with kids aged 11 to 14, and watching them grow is both chaotic and heartwarming. Once they turn 15, they move on to another group and start turning into little teenage monsters… which I love from a safe distance 😅.

I love learning new things, and this might sound silly, but I truly love being happy. I believe that the more good we do, the more good comes back to us. It’s like a bit of everyday magic ✨ (except on the days when I’m a little anxious or a bit down, but that’s okay too!)
